Arrowhead Speed Drill
THE DRILL -
Most sprints in football are around 6m in length so this drill is perfect for improving your acceleration and ability to change direction at high speed.
KEY POINTS -
When accelerating away use powerful and purposeful strides (as opposed to fast feet)
Stay low and tight to the cones when changing direction
Make sure you run around each cone and don't cut any corners
