This is the ultimate endurance running assessment allowing you to measure your ability to repeatedly sprint and recover from high intensity efforts.
THE DRILL -
To be a top player in the modern game it's vital that your physically fit enough to repeatedly get up and down the pitch. More specific than the old school bleep test, this mimics the demands of the game by allowing a 10 second rest every time a shuttle is completed.
KEY POINTS -
Use the yoyo test audio provided (below) before you begin the drill
Start each run on the beep and make sure you reach the next section before the next beep
Don't hold back - It's important to run as a fast and as hard as you can to get a true test of your fitness
The test is over when you fail to complete the 20m course before the beep on 2 occasions
