PRE-SEASON

PROGRAMME

INTRO

Our 6 week training programme will give you the insight and knowledge to train like a pro and help you take your game to the next level. The aim of the programme isn't just to help you improve as a player within this six week period but also to lay the foundations with how you approach your off pitch work for the rest of your career so you can keep improving year on year. After all Cristiano Ronaldo’s success isn't the result of working hard for just one pre season.

This comprehensive 6 week training phase involves 4 sessions per week that are split between the gym and the pitch. You will learn how to train smart and follow a structured programme where you will see improvements in performance and individual areas such as power, strength, flexibility, speed and conditioning.

The Gym and Pitch based sessions are designed to work side by side to cover all areas of your training. One isn't more important than the other and the programme should be followed as closely as possible and sessions performed in the order prescribed for you to gain the full benefit.

The gym is where we will focus mainly on your strength and quality of movement. Improved strength means you’ll be better suited to the physicality of the game, it will also allow you to put more force into the ground making you faster and ultimately you’ll recover faster between games as the body can better handle the demands of match play.

THIS IS YOUR FIRST STEP TO BECOMING

A BETTER ATHLETE

AND A BETTER FOOTBALLER

During the initial week of the 6 week programme you will complete a series of “fitness tests” to give you a base measure on your strength, power, speed, agility and conditioning. Once you have completed the 6 week programme you’ll then repeat the tests so you can see how much you’ve improved.

As with every elite player at the top end of the game its important that all progress in the gym and out on the pitch can be measured. Seeing measurable improvements in your fitness will not only show that your training is having a positive effect physically, but mentally you will step out on the field knowing that you're ready to compete.
